Overall though I enjoyed it enough to read his others soon. Officers of the various companies poo-pooed the whole thing, but it soon got out of hand. There is very little of the aftermath in the book. The plot here is based on the Indian Mutiny, or Sepoy Rebellion, of For me the sign of a good book is if it prompts me to learn more about the time, the place or the events.
