All of the books come together and create this awesome ending, and I can assure you it’s worth reading the lot just for that. Too sappy and happily ever after and everything just wrong. At least we found out that Thais’s element is water. I did enjoy her writing, and thought it was even better I happened to run across an interview with Cate Tiernan that said Balefire was ended by the publisher early, so I knew not to expect all the threads to be wrapped up.
In addition, tiednan coping with the love they both feel for the same person, who has finally made his choice. I already knew Manon would die because we never got a single chapter from her POV, plus it’s like the “tragedy” you could tisrnan coming a mile away – she finally ages, finally wants to live, and then gets zapped.

They both seem drained and at peace. They always discrible her with dark eyes and always in the dark. It’s not that I don’t work or play well with others, but I need to decide for myself baleifre I do a certain thing, and how I do it. You mean, While these books do get better over the four, this one still ends with much frustration. She’s an incredibly imaginative and empathetic writer with a gift for creating a rich, sensual world. Everyone of the triez actually going along with the rite 7. Melita returns, but that was strongly foreshadowed in the last book, so no big shocker there.

Other books in the series. Clio was so unlikeable, she used her looks to hook up with pretty much any guy she thought was somewhat hot.
